The Uxbridge Pub Guide - Is there a pub guide for Uxbridge on the web? That's been a question I have been thinking about for longer than is healthy. For those unfamiliar with Uxbridge, it's the last station on the London Underground Metropolitan line, NorthWest London. Nearby towns include Hayes, Ruislip, Ealing and Beaconsfield. Since the opening of the Chimes Shopping Centre, it seems the town centre has been re-vitalised, with new restaurants, cinema, superstores and of course PUBS opening up. But let's concentrate on the many pubs Uxbridge has to offer, from the traditional locals of The Three Tons to the sophisticated likes of Baroosh.
Uxbridge Loiterers Cycling Club - With over 60 members Uxbridge Loiterers is one of the larger cycling clubs in West London. Our aim is to enjoy cycling all the year round in beautiful countryside with pleasant company, good food and drink. The Loiterers have rides every Wednesday and Sunday starting at 10.00 am from the Market Square in front of Uxbridge Underground Station. Occasionally times may vary depending on destination.

Uxbridge United Welfare Trust - Uxbridge United Welfare Trust is a charitable organisation whose purpose is to help relieve poverty in the area once defined as the old Urban District of Uxbridge. This is the area of benefit in which the Trust operates two charities. The principal charity, for general welfare purposes, is divided into two sections; the Almshouse Branch and the Relief in Need branch. A further charity, the Lord Ossulton Fund, provides grants for educational purposes.
